La idea sobre esta tienda fue concebida por Tito viviendo en San Francisco, y al viajar a Seattle se empapó de la tendencia "second hand". Cuando se percató que en España no existían aún tiendas vintage decidió comprar su primer lote e ignaugurar su establecimiento en 1989.
El nombre the-the viene de uno de los primeros grupos musicales que hacían música electronica a finales de los setentas.

Los artículos que puedes encontrar en esta tienda van desde complementos muy variados en formas y textiles de sombrerería, hasta vestidos Comes des Garçons, piezas de Schoet, pantalones vaqueros, camisas ben sherman, bowling shirts, calzado de segunda mano en botas, dr. Marteens, y zapatos para mujer de marni de hace algunas temporadas o gucci de los 70´s. Gafas de sol, para graduar (que estan a la alza este verano), y también pajaritas para quien quiere romper la monotonía.

La tienda cuenta con un estilo muy personal, en un ambiente limpio, agradable y ordenado, lo cual facilita encontrar lo que buscas. Los precios aproximados son de 30€ los bolsos, alrededor de 36€ el calzado y desde 29€ hasta 170€ los vestidos.

The idea about this shop was conceived by Tito, when he lived in Sn. Francisco, and travelled to Seattle, he got involved with the second hand trend. At his return to Spain he got striked by the lack of second hand shops in Madrid and decided to buy his first pack of clothes an open the stablishment in 1989.

The name "THE-THE" comes out from one of the first music bands that started with electronic music at the end of the seventies.

The ítems available at this vintage store are: a wide variety of textiles an shapes in hats, dreses of brands like comes des garçons, brands like SCHOET, jeans, ben sherman style shirts, bowling shirts, second hand boots like dr. Marteens, and women shoes by Marni a few seasons ago or seventies Gucci footware. Sun glasses, glasses (that are very trendy for this summer), and also ties to break the ice.

The shop has a very personal style, a clean enviroment, nice and ordered, that helps to find out everything you look for. The prices are between 30€ for handbags, and around 36€ for shoes, and 29€ to 170€ for dresses.
